ADOPTION

Well, we are thanking the Lord up and down tonight! We just received word that all of the medical bills that were previously denied have now been paid for!!! So I have downgraded the amount that we need back to our original amount of $10,600. Thank you for praying, and keep those prayers coming!!

Our total amount necessary has changed a little. Formerly we needed $10,600. It has since gone up as we just found out that we were denied some financial assistance for a big medical bill from earlier this year. Thank you to those who have contributed. Please pray for us. We're in the fight of our lives right now and need massive prayer backing from all of you!

Hi Folks!
We decided to create an easy way for you to help us move forward with our adoption. Not all of what we will need is included in the total goal of $10,600. This is just the number necessary to keep moving forward. The the vast majority of this fund will go directly to our adoption, not all of the total is strictly going toward adoption fees.

What we decided to do was to tally up all of the bigger adoption fees as well as the expenses that are hindering us from being able to put money toward adoption, and that's how we came by the $10,600 goal. Call it killing two birds with one stone. If you've been in our shoes, you know how hard it is to raise funds for adoption when a whole bunch of additional expenses are staring you down.

Things like groceries and monthly bills aren't included in this total. The "additional expenses" are things like getting our car fixed, and paying off some recent medical bills. These are not large sums to most people, but for us they create a major barrier in moving forward.
